Pro-Vision Distribution Limited, the Shropshire-based distributor of branded CCTV and access control equipment, has recently signed an agreement to supply and support the Portal Plus range from Videx Security.
Videx has been manufacturing and supplying door entry systems for almost 30 years and, under the agreement, Pro-Vision Distribution will provide Portal Plus which is an access control system for proximity, coded access and bio-access devices.

Capable of supporting up to 15,000 users and unlimited number of entrances, this system is based on a two-entrance controller and communicates with other controllers via a dedicated RS485 bus, or via LAN/WAN. Each controller is self-contained allowing for distributed intelligence for a more robust system.
