Mayflex, the Birmingham-based cabling infrastructure, networking and electronic security products distributor has formed a distribution agreement with Entertech Systems. Mayflex is to provide Suprema biometrics for access control to the UK market. Suprema offers IP access control and the global leader in biometric access control systems; Entertech is Suprema’s official operating partner in the UK, Ireland, United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Mayflex will also offer BioConnect, an identity management platform from Entertech, for deployment and use of Suprema biometric readers and integration with access control systems. Instead of having badge records in two systems (one for the access control panel, another for biometric templates), BioConnect syncs users between the two. Customers can find and manage users, badge records and devices, from one graphical user interface.
