Shortlisted for Which? award

A security installer is one of the firms shortlisted for a national award. Hillis Security Systems Ltd is based in Upminster, Essex and accredited by the Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB), with six years of Certificates of Excellence 2010 to 2015.

Which? the consumer champion holds an annual awards ceremony. Unlike some industry awards, a company cannot put itself forward for a Which? Award. Instead Which? looks at performance over a 12-month; performance during the assessment stage of becoming a Which? Trusted trader and the firm’s engagement with the endorsement scheme, including customer feedback. The outcome is that Hillis are shortlisted for Trusted Trader of the Year 2016 and of the four shortlisted companies Hillis is the only security company this year in the running. Company founder is Vince Hillis.

Peter Vicary-Smith, Which? group chief executive said: ‘The Which? Awards celebrate brands that succeed because they put consumers at the heart of their business. ‘For our 10th Which? Awards, we are looking to reward businesses that deliver excellent products and services, and those that seek to change things and innovate to consistently deliver more for their customers.’
