Radio communicator

by Mark Rowe

New from CSL is MiniAir, described by the signalling product company as the smallest radio communicator on the market. It uses all mobile networks via the company’s WorldSIM to signal an alarm from the protected premises to a smartphone, alerting a keyholder. The makers say that it’s designed for residential premises as an affordable upgrade for bells-only systems as it fits into an existing or legacy control panel.

Like all CSL products, MiniAir is supported by the Gemini Platform. For the security sector alone, Gemini handles over one billion calls each month and is the platform that provides the connectivity for nearly half a million protected premises throughout Europe.

CSL’s Sales Director, Rob Evans, said: “MiniAir is an easy to install solution saving valuable engineer time, whilst also offering Installers a cost effective ‘bells-only’ upgrade and the opportunity to increase their valuable monitoring contracts. Simply order through your chosen ARC to get incredibly competitive pricing for App connectivity and an easy upgrade option to ARC monitoring if/when required.”
