Hochiki Europe at FIREX 2016

by Mark Rowe

Hochiki Europe will present its latest life safety systems, including L@titude and FIREscape lite, at stand D100 at this year’s FIREX International. It’s running alongside IFSEC, on June 21 to 23, in ExCeL, London.

The manufacturer of life safety products will be on stand offering new product demonstrations and advice, as well as discussing the latest industry developments, such as the Government’s BIM level 2 targets.

L@titude is a new modular technology platform that helps customers detect incidents in real-time. The easy to operate system can be accessed from any location and can be fully customised to meet customer requirements – both EN and UL versions will be on display at FIREX.

Also on show is FIREscape lite, an emergency lighting concept, designed for smaller projects and refits. The system allows FIREscape luminaires and exit signs to be powered from a building’s main electricity supply by use of a transformer unit, reducing costs and adding to ease of installation, the developers say.

Other new products include: CHQ-FTM, an SIL approved dual input module designed for the oil and gas industry; UL and EN approved duct detectors; a VESDA aspirating system, available to UK customers exclusively; and Hydrosense, a moisture detection system.

Paul Adams, marketing manager at Hochiki Europe said: “This year we’ve continued our global expansion, opening a new branch office in India, and brought to market a number of brand new products on the leading-edge of life safety technology. FIREX International is a fantastic forum to engage with key players in our industry and discuss the issues affecting our sector. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to meet and work with these industry leaders to ensure we’re always finding new ways to protect buildings and their occupants.”
