DualCom approved

by Mark Rowe

The DualCom Security range has gained approval to the European standard EN50136. The product testing to gain EN50136 approval was handled by Intertek. The certification was also extended to the DigiAir product.

Pictured is the certificate presentation during IFSEC 2014 at London ExCel, on the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) stand; left to right James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA and CSL DualCom’s Group Managing Director Simon Banks.

James Kelly said: “As the trade association for the private security industry in the UK, the BSIA is a strong advocate of European standards, which we view as a symbol of quality and professionalism in the security industry. With EU legislation soon to enforce European standards over country specific ones we commend CSL for taking steps to have the quality and credibility of their products independently verified.”

Intertek’s Business Development Director for Life Safety and Security, Daniel Griffin was in attendance and said: “It is important that consumers are able to make educated choices about the products they use. Independent testing provides a benchmark standard that can be trusted and demonstrates a manufacturer’s commitment to product excellence.”

CSL DualCom report that DualCom is now in use to protect over 250,000 premises around Europe. Visit: www.csldual.com.
