CPD courses

Hochiki Europe, the manufacturer of fire safety and emergency lighting products, has been certified by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) for five of its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. The new externally approved technical seminars by the firm are:

· Emergency Lighting Standards and Design Considerations

· False Alarm Reduction in Detection Systems

· Understanding the Selection, Spacing and Siting Of Detectors

· Hybrid Wireless Fire Detection – The Standards & Technologies

· Understanding EN54-23 Visual Alarm Devices.

The courses are all intermediate level and suitable the company says for M&E consultants and engineers, end users and architects. They are also for anyone involved in the process of providing or maintaining emergency lighting, or designing, providing or maintaining automatic or wireless fire detection systems. Each course has been reviewed and assessed by the CIBSE to ensure they meet the standard of technical content required to help members ensure they meet their CPD requirements.
