Access Control

TDSi at Expoprotection 2016

by Mark Rowe

The access control manufacturer TDSi showed its new range of GARDiS software on the company’s stand at Expoprotection 2016 in Paris in November. Visitors came from across France and Europe, as well further afield, from countries such as Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Monaco, Ivory Coast and Hungary.

TDSi’s International Business Development Manager, Mica Negrilic led the team on the stand at the event. He said afterwards: “Expoprotection was an exciting event again this year, both for visitors but also for us exhibitors! All three days at the event saw our team busy with visitors and we were particularly delighted that GARDiS was so well received. The solution is a major move towards completely online hosted integrated security systems and responds to evolving market demands.

“Being web-based, the GARDiS range offers the greatest flexibility, but also the highest levels of security. It features full ONVIF Profile A and C compliance and is also highly compatible with a wide range of security systems from other suppliers – which makes it perfectly future-proof and an ideal investment for any security operator.”

Expoprotection comes in a busy year for TDSi, with other appearances at IFSEC Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur and IFSEC International in London in June, pictured. Expoprotection is a particularly important event for the TDSi French office, which is based in Noisy-le-Grand near Paris.

Mica added: “It’s fair to say the best providers to the French security market appear at Expoprotection and it is the perfect opportunity to investigate the latest technology and trends. For our team, it was also an ideal chance to meet with our partners and customers face to face. This is vital when it comes to fully understanding what the market wants and is a key driver in our ongoing technology development.”

TDSi also showed its range of integrated security systems – including its MICROgarde controllers and DIGIgarde PLUS readers (which offer PIN, card and fingerprint identification all in the same unit).

Mica added: “Expoprotection is a great barometer of not only the French, but also the wider European and North African security market, so the busy event demonstrated just how much interest there is from this important sector. We very much look forward to seeing our partners and customers again next year.”
