Pink Ribbon printer for charity

by msecadm4921

Datacard Group, the US-based secure ID and access card manufacturer, announced that they have donated over $17,700 to the Pink Ribbon Foundation against breast cancer. Datacard developed a Limited Edition Pink Datacard SD260 card printer.  The one-of-a-kind printer was sold to companies around the globe from October 2011 to March 2012.

The company donated a portion of the proceeds from each printer sold to the Pink Ribbon Foundation – a foundation that helps fund projects and charities around the globe for people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer. Datacard also held an employee fundraising event that also helped raise money for the foundation.

Todd Wilkinson, chief executive officer for Datacard Group, said: “The Pink Ribbon Foundation is such a wonderful organization and we are very happy to make a contribution to them. Breast cancer affects so many individuals – whether it is directly or indirectly – and we are honoured to help support them in any way we can.”
