Longfleet Youth FC’s Under 8s Cubs team has played its first friendly game wearing its new kit sponsored by Poole-based security access manufacturer TDSi.

Longfleet Youth FC was founded in 1988 and has steadily grown into a well-established club based in Poole and currently running 17 teams with age groups running from U6s to U15s. In 2011 the club won “The FA Community Awards” for “The FA Development Club for the South West region” and this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.

John Davies, Managing Director of TDSi said: “As a Poole business, we’re delighted to be supporting Longfleet Youth FC for the forthcoming season. It’s great to see the enthusiasm and sporting talent in our local area and we hope that their smart new kit will help motivate the entire team both at training and league matches.”

Paul Ford, Manager of Longfleet Youth FC Under 8 Cubs added: “TDSi’s sponsorship is fantastic news for the club and will help us to develop young sporting talent in the Poole area. We are all very proud of our club and can’t wait to start the season in our new kit!”

The new season of football featuring the TDSi sponsored Under 8s team commences on the weekend of September 8.
