Dealer golf day

by Mark Rowe

The latest dealer golf day at Stocks Golf Club in Hertfordshire by the access control product company SALTO saw a number of SALTO Certificated Partners coming together to have a enjoyable day at the course in the heart of the Chilterns.

In business, people buy from people, the firm points out, and these golf events are one of the ways that enable SALTO to say thank you to its dealer network for the work they put into specifying and selling.

The day saw dealers from Allgood, AC Leigh, AIT, Beaver Architectural Ironmongery, Custom Technology Solutions, Joint Ventures with SALTO compete in teams of four in a morning nine hole and afternoon 18-hole stableford. It included lunch and prize presentations.

First prize winner (of a golf bag) was Stewart Froome of Allgood. Second (and winner of a putter) was Gary Bevan of Beaver Architectural Ironmongery and third (winner of a ball retriver) was Adrian Luckman of Custom Technology Solutions. Nearest the pin winner was Stewart Froome again, and longest drive winner was John Vecchio of Joint Ventures.

SALTO Systems UK MD Ramesh Gurdev said: “We had a great day, a lot of fun and some excellent golf. We were fortunate to have mostly dry weather and it was good to share the day with so many of our dealers. We would like to say thank you to all who took part for making the day the success it was. We are running these days with our dealer network at various courses around the country; and we now look forward to our next events in the North of England and Scotland later in the year.”
