CEM year awards

by Mark Rowe

Winners of the CEM Business Partners of the Year awards were announced at the annual CEM APAC Conference, in Phuket, pictured; and the CEM EMEA Conference, Belfast.

The awards are designed to recognise CEM dealers in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions. CEM Systems is part of the Security Products business unit of Tyco.

In Asia-Pacific, CEM recognised ADT Hong Kong who have supported key customers around the region. Twice Technologies received the award for South East Asia, having won several projects in the last year while the award for China was given to Yi Dai Tian Cheng for their recent work in the airport sector in that region.

In EMEA, ADT Fire and Security received this year’s award for UK and Ireland to mark their numerous projects and work at road shows and events. Mark McAteer, Major Account Manager, ADT Fire and Security plc, said: “Working in collaboration ADT and CEM have successfully supplied high security locations throughout Ireland and the UK with state of the art security solutions.”

Samaxon, based in Poland, won the award for Europe – their success was attributed, among other things, to the delivery of a complex solution at a museum. The security firm Tyco Fire and Security UAE were given the award for Middle East.

In the Africa category, security distributor Pentagon was awarded for their project work and investment in supporting CEM through their demonstration facilities and African exhibitions.

Brendon Hall, Managing Director, Pentagon, said: “We are very proud to receive the CEM Business Partner of the Year Award in Africa for the second year in a row. The CEM product line has maintained its popularity in our territory and is fast gaining traction in the South African market.”

Also based in Africa, CEM installer Geoffield were given recognition for their work with CEM throughout Nigeria. CEM resellers supply, install and service CEM security management systems around the world.

Andrew Fulton, Global Sales Director, CEM Systems, said: “Our channel partners are critical to our success and in partnership with our 2014 business partners we have significantly grown CEM sales in their markets. These awards not only recognise business partners for sales delivered but also for their commitment towards accredited CEM training and joint marketing initiatives. We look forward to our continued relationship with business partners and customers throughout 2015.”
