BSB Progeny trio

by Mark Rowe

The Lancashire based access control manufacturer BSB Progeny has recently appointed three new people: Carol Goddard, Sarah Farrimond and Paul Haggis have taken the roles of Office Manager, Marketing Manager and Production Support Engineer, respectively.

Carol Goddard has joined as office manager. Coming from Radius Security Ltd, Carol is a part-qualified accountant and has 14 years’ experience in finance. Her role will involve all aspects of financial and administrative management. Carol is a self-confessed ‘computer nerd’ and in her spare time she enjoys walking and spending time with her cat.

Paul Haggis has been appointed as Production Support Engineer and has 18 years’ experience in related fields. He will be available to customers who have any technical queries and will be based in Progeny’s Production Department, where the access control systems are made. Paul is a keen rock-climber in his free time.

Sarah Farrimond has come from Clayton linen providers Tonrose and has a degree in Public Relations. The role of marketing manager has been newly created and Sarah will be involved in the sales side of the company also. Sarah grew up in East Lancashire but has spent time in London and Leeds since graduating in 2004. As well as going to the gym regularly, Sarah enjoys walking in the Ribble Valley with her dog.

Managing Director, Brett Burby says: “I am delighted to welcome the three new members of the Progeny team. Each of them brings with them a fresh enthusiasm and a new skillset. We are planning significant growth in the coming months and having Carol, Sarah and Paul on board will help to facilitate this growth.”

Progeny is the brand name of the company BSB Electronics Ltd, based in Great Harwood, Lancashire. Formed in 1981, the company has supplied access control systems across the globe.
