Access control panel award

by Mark Rowe

Remsdaq’s latest products EntroStar and EntroWatch have been gained an industry award at ASIS International in Chicago.

Mark Williams, Business Manager at Remsdaq, says: “The judges had a diverse range of products to choose from and their decision further underlines our belief and confidence in these ground breaking products.”

Remsdaq’s EntroStar is described as native BACnet PoE/PoE+ access control panel. EntroStar supports two doors and up to four Wiegand compatible readers. Designed to communicate with any ANSI/ASHRAE 135-2010 (BACnet) compliant system, EntroStar is designed for integration of access control, security and building management systems. EntroStar is also available in a metal enclosure with optional mains powered DC supply and battery back-up.

To complement EntroStar, Remsdaq developed EntroWatch, a license free acess control system to use a Windows 8 style dashboard management and control display. This means any menu is a maximum of two clicks away. Offered are automatic hardware discovery and set-up wizard. The product has no hard limits for doors or card-holders, being governed only by SQL Server Express in terms of database size and client licenses. As standard are integral ID badge management, graphical maps and custom displays. For more product details visit www.entrowatch.com
