IIPSEC launch, 31/01/2006
IP security surveillance and monitoring product firm DVTel announced at IIPSEC an offering for installers, consultants and end users.

In cooperation with networking firm ProCurve Networking by HP, DVTel will provide support for selecting, designing and configuring network-based video. DVTel’s intelligent Security Operations Center (iSOC) is software which gives users, the manufacturers report, the ability to view, capture, record, analyze, report and store video, audio and data, at any time and any place. It is scalable from one camera to thousands, the makers add. Under this new programme, DVTel is using certified ProCurve network equipment and offering the video networking equipment free to those parties who qualify. What they say

"DVTel is leading the change from closed, proprietary security systems to open, standards-based platforms," said Eli Gorovici, DVTel president and CEO. "We have developed an expanding list of market-leading partners with whom we are collaborating to develop and provide a premium IP network video solution. The launch of the iSOC Partner Program and the Free Network offer are a direct outgrowth of this strategy."

Properly designed and configured IP networks continue to be a challenge for those who are planning networked video, it is claimed. DVTel, with its IP networking alliance partner ProCurve Networking by HP, takes the mystery out of implementing video over IP networks, it is claimed.

Gorovici added: "ProCurve’s line of products offers top quality, great interoperability, and high performance, all in a cost-effective networking solution. Now DVTel’s iSOC will be backed by HP’s powerful warranty and design services, making this a highly unique and attractive offer for what is fast becoming an IT-centric security market."
