Smart car park

by Mark Rowe

Dahua‘s new smart car park solution offers video surveillance and video analysis. The product is integrated with the background smart analysis system DH-DSS4004-EMS. An entrance control function can save on staff costs, while delivering the makers say a much easier as well as safer parking experience.

The entrance control comes with four essential aspects, the manufacturers say.

Using automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), authorised vehicles will be identified by an ANPR camera, which reads car license plates and controls the gate. Visitors can press the VTT201 video intercom button and talk to an operator.

The ANPR cameras ITC237-PU1A-IRHL have a recognition rate of higher than 95 per cent, according to the firm, and cover all number plates of European countries.

Fuzzy search

The Dahua network recorder model NVR5208-8P-4KS2 supports 4K ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) recording, live viewing and play-back. If you use the refine search function, data including vehicle picture, plate number, entry and exit history log, and recorded video will be displayed in the window. The NVR also offers the export of plate data strings with exact date, time and channel to USB memory.

Management

Based on Windows management software, the background smart analysis system DH-DSS4004-EMS is designed for management of car parking. A user can respond to an emergency call from the VTT201 intercom, and search video and images by date, time and number plate from the stored data.
