HGV advice leaflet

by Mark Rowe

The official NACTSO (National Counter Terrorism Security Office) has brought out a single-page A5-size leaflet as a guide to HGV security.

To view the document online, visit this link. It’s been released as part of CT Awareness Week 2016, produced by counter terrorism police.

Supt David Roney, Deputy Coordinator, Protect and Prepare said: “Tackling terrorism is a responsibility for all of us and everyone has a role to play in keeping us safe. When we all work together we are more resilient. I would like to encourage everyone to remain vigilant and be confident in reporting unusual or suspicious behaviour to police.”

The police point out that the threat to the UK from international terrorism is rated as severe, which means that an attack is highly likely.
