Retail risk date

by Mark Rowe

A new event on threats to retail business online, and the thinking and technology that will enable retailers to protect it is eRisk. It’s to run in March to explore the challenges around loss prevention and risk arising from online operations…

eRisk will bring together speakers to address retailers’ need to understand and manage cyber threats that have emerged in online retail and digital processes.

Mark Emmott, Director at Retail Knowledge, the owners of the Retail Risk conference series, says: “The rapid expansion of ecommerce in the last few years has seen issues such as online credit card fraud or delivery fraud become hot topics. The launch of eRisk – London, together with other eRisk conferences later on in the year in New York and in Leicester, recognises both the increasing importance of online operations to retailers generally and the vital role of effective online risk management and loss prevention in particular.”

Co-located with the Retail Risk event, the new eRisk – London conference also offers organisers say networking opportunities with peers and the potential for personal international profile development.

Retailers, academics and law enforcement personnel can enjoy free delegate passes, which includes refreshments and hot lunch, all complimentary. To register for eRisk – London, co-located with Retail Risk at Novotel London West at Hammersmith, pictured, go to http://eriskevents.com/london/.
