NSI medal

by Mark Rowe

The alarm installers Abel welcomed Jeff Little OBE, Chief Executive of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) to its head office on April 16, to present an NSI Gold Medal certificate for recertification to the BAFE Scheme SP203 to the firm’s northern region. Northern Sales Manager Michael Nice accepted the medal, now proudly displayed at their Newcastle branch office.

Mr Little also presented training certificates to employees. Abby Coley, pictured with Jeff Little, achieved the Institute of Administrative Management Level 2 and Carl Meason a Diploma in Security Management. Long standing employees Sue Rodgers and Fran Green had their 25 years of service marked with gifts and flowers.

Mr Little was given a tour of Abel head office including their ARC Gold standard Communications and Monitoring Centre. Mr Little was on fine form after the presentations, providing an exchange of views, with Abel senior managers at an informal question and answer session and an insight into the NSI and its plans.

Pat Allen Director said: “I am proud to see our staff receive their awards from Jeff. This type of event shows the commitment Abel gives to its employees, providing inspiration and motivation to enhance the way we work and the service we give to our customers. Congratulations to all the award winners.”
