Mobile devices guide

A security awareness consultancy, The Security Company, is highlighting a recent warning from the Information Commissioner’s Office that a lack of guidance over the use of mobile devices in the workplace could lead to serious security breaches.

The growing popularity of “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) schemes carries with it a responsibility for both employers and employees to adhere to the Data Protection Act and enlightened security practices, says The Security Company in a new report published at: http://www.thesecurityco.com/news/expert-comment/byod-a-time-bomb-waiting-to-happen/
