The IP Protect Expo seeks to address issues and solutions for intellectual property protection. A two day event in London, it’s a trade exhibition and conference, on practical aspects of trademark, copyright and design right protection. It’s running at the Business Design Centre, Islington, on March 11 and 12, 2014.

The event is hosted by ACG (the Anti-Counterfeiting Group: www.a-cg.org), and sponsored by Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard and MarkMonitor. It has been developed in partnership with a range of industry bodies and associations including, among others, the Intellectual Property Office, BASCAP and The Alliance for Intellectual Property. ACG are besides running their annual London IP Training Day on March 11, 2014.

Around 50 exhibitors, and 60 brand names contributed to discussions and 500 took part in the 2013 IP Protect Expo.

Ruth Orchard, Director General, ACG says: “The latest report from the EU Observatory clearly shows the importance of intellectual property to the economy. IP Protect Expo was created in conjunction with the industry to support companies, irrespective of their size, in their efforts to generate value from and protect their most precious assets – their intellectual property.”
