Registration is now open for the third Gadget Show Live Professional, which returns to the NEC in Birmingham on April 2, with Windows.

Running ahead of the five day Gadget Show Live consumer event, Gadget Show Live Professional is a technology show in the UK designed for trade and press visitors. The shows are based on the channel FIVE television programme.

With more than 250 exhibitors at the show, Gadget Show Live Professional is an opportunity for industry buyers and journalists to touch, test and compare tech products and services; some 4,735 visitors attended in 2012 and organiser Upper Street Events is expecting those numbers to rise for 2013.

Microsoft, Sonos, Acer, Freesat, Volkswagen, Game, Turtle Beach, Epic Games, LG and Parrot are already confirmed for the event. Last year 50 Cent used the show to launch his STREET by 50 Cent headphones.

Visitors to Gadget Show Live Professional include buyers and professionals from the toy, games, licensing, music, cycling, IT, security and educational sectors, as well as technology retailers, facilities managers, property developers, home builders, consumer electronics distributors and media. Visitors must register in advance at www.gadgetshowpro.com. Entry costs £15 for anyone who does not register in advance.

Commenting on Gadget Show Live Professional, event director Matt Hodgins said: “Buyers, press and industry professionals appreciate the opportunity to see the very latest tech, with many products being launched in the UK at Gadget Show Live Professional. With some amazing tech launches lined up for 2013 we are expecting Gadget Show Live Professional to be a really inspiring and exciting showcase.”
