Under the terms of an ongoing agreement with the Academy, the training division of Tavcom is providing foundation and advanced CCTV training for installation and service engineers in Dubai. The aim; to improve skills for licenses to be issued by the Department of Protective Systems of the Dubai Police Service to installers and companies which will permit them to install and maintain electronic security systems.

Paul Tennent, Sales Director for Tavcom, said: “To have provided training for 1000 students over a two year period is a significant achievement for Tavcom. We are grateful to the head of the centre Lieut Col Nasser Kazim and Mr Adil Abdel-Hadi, Director of Studies and Coordination Bureau and their colleagues at the International Centre for Security and Safety, for their cooperation and support which has helped us achieve this goal.

“We are looking forward to providing the same high level of training to the many other students who will be attending the Academy over the coming months and in doing so, help them achieve the professional standards required by the Dubai Police Service.”
