OCTAVIAN CHECKS IN TO LAHORE

by msecadm4921

UK based Octavian Security has signed a teaming agreement to work directly with Security Solutions (PVT) Limited of Lahore, to provide manned security and security consultancy services throughout Pakistan.

The deal is the latest in a string of high profile announcements since the turn of the year.

Tony Mellor, commercial director at Octavian, says the company won the deal through ceaseless global networking.

“We now have links across the world – mainly because of Sukhi Ghuman’s (Octavian’s owner and founder) global network of contacts.

“We have fostered a reputation for reliability, innovation, flexibility and pragmatism, and we are mindful of the credibility and reputation of our brand worldwide.”

This has been considerably strengthened by the recent appointment of Sukhi as Chair of the Homeland Security Foundation of America – a first for a non-US resident. The HSFA is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a number of public safety, energy, health and human services initiatives across the USA, with the ultimate aim of advancing homeland security and preserving civil liberties.

The strategic affiliation with Security Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. is also the result of global networking and the dynamic approach of the top management of the company towards offering security services at par with the international standards in the domestic market.

Mobin Sarwar, COO of Security Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. commented: “We believe that this professional association will open more avenues for us in Pakistan and will further enhance the image of the country.

“Working with Octavian will enhance the confidence of those travelling to and operating in Pakistan where we provide security or in depth consultancy.

“This strategic alliance can have a multi-dimensional impact on different industries and will lead to more business development opportunities at macro as well as micro level.”

Octavian’s capabilities range from providing an outsourced single security service, to conducting a full review of the scope of existing security strategies, recommending improvements and implementing the new procedures.

Tony says the new contract could lead to even more work in the region: “We’re actively seeking framework agreements such as the one secured at Lahore. We’re confident that the Octavian brand, aligned with our professionalism and ability to get the job done will lead to further successes in this emerging marketplace.

“This is the first time that Octavian has accessed the Pakistani market, and we’re driven to make it a success,” added Tony.

Octavian currently performs security duties for over 150 blue chip clients, employing some 850 specialist personnel both in the UK and the USA.
