At the IFSEC International security show, Canon Europe has announced a number of new deals with specialist distributors of video security products and solutions. Canon’s new partners will carry its range of network cameras and include Adenar (UK), ALSO Actebis (Scandinavia) and MHM (Germany).

The partnerships, signed in the six weeks running up to the show, mean that Canon has new distribution deals in place to sell its highly detailed video capture and HD technology in Germany, Scandinavia and the UK, in addition to existing partnerships in France.

Joe White, Business Development Manager for Network Camera Solutions, Canon Europe, said: “The partnerships we are announcing today will greatly strengthen Canon’s European presence in the security market and allow us to reach more customers in more territories. Our partners are a crucial way for us to educate end users about our technology and at IFSEC we’re looking to build on these relationships to recruit more distributors, systems integrators and resellers.”

Canon has 70 years’ experience as a high quality lens manufacturer and is a market leader in digital SLR and broadcasting technologies. Canon uses the core technology assets from these areas to develop network cameras which deliver exceptional image quality and capture best in class images in all light conditions.

Anand Subbiah, Sales Manager, Adenar Ltd <http://www.adenar.com/> , said: “We believe that the partnership with Canon is the beginning of an exciting new phase for both companies. Canon network cameras set a benchmark for high quality and reliability that the security industry is striving for.”
