Axis Security, a leading provider of bespoke security systems and manned guarding services, has further strengthened its systems capability with the appointment of Glyn Bown as the new nationwide Engineering Manager.
Glyn joins Axis Security from G4S Technology where he was a Senior Project Manager. He also has extensive experience in the security industry having run his own electronic security business sub-contracting to a national company undertaking all aspects of electronic security works for a major high street retailer.
His new position will include responsibility for: all Axis Security engineers and its subcontractors; delivering projects on time, within budget and to the correct standard; and ensuring compliance through regular audits and inspections.
“What appealed to me most about the role was the vision Axis Security has for growth and the path it has chosen to achieve it,” Glyn says. “This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team, to help drive the company forward and to have an influence on the direction it takes.”
Based at the Bristol office, Glyn’s role will also include overseeing profitability and budget responsibility for all works on both the installation and service sides of the business, while monitoring the company’s performance against KPIs for all customers.
