Human Recognition Systems (HRS) revealed a brand new portable deployment option of its leading biometric workforce management and reporting platform, MSite Lite, at this year’s Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) event in London.

As an official sponsor of the event, HRS demonstrated a selection of their advanced, biometric identification platforms which are deployed in critical infrastructure applications to help enhance security and operational efficiency.

Utilising proven biometric technology, the new portable MSite Lite was specifically designed to enable mobile identity and workforce management including time and attendance, accreditation management and facilitating emergency muster reporting.  The innovative deployment also features a contactless smartcard reader (supporting CSCS card integration), a long-lasting rechargeable battery and the necessary 3G and Wi-Fi hardware for remote cloud connectivity. Fully housed within a durable carry case the deployment provides a truly portable and wireless platform.

James Saxton, Product Strategy Director said “A particular feature which generated a lot of interest at the exhibition was the deployment’s GPS functionality. This allows transactions to be geo-tagged in real-time, providing critical information in emergency muster situations.”

He added: “The rich connectivity and portability of the new MSite Lite deployment makes it an ideal platform for use in remote and potentially hazardous environments such as oil rigs. As a complete turnkey solution, enabling a simple roll out across multiple site locations, customers are also able to log-on to MSite in the cloud and view transactions logged at the MSite Lite station immediately upon delivery.”

Having officially unveiled the new portable MSite Lite deployment at CNI, HRS look forward to helping new and existing clients realise their mobile workforce identification requirements.
