In what is becoming a fixture in the calendar, security industry manufacturers enjoyed a trackside night at Belle Vue, Manchester, greyhound racing stadium, as guests of Professional Security and remote monitoring station Visual Verification. In this fourth annual get-together, the evening?s races were sponsored by the attending manufacturers and their representatives presented trophies to winning dog owners. The event raised œ3,000 for the charity behind the 0800 freephone confidential line Crimestoppers, to be split between the Midlands and North regions. Thanks to the sponsors: Dedicated Micros, Baxall, Visimetrics, Visual Verification, Professional Security, Panasonic, CCTV Software, CCTV Centre, Sony, Technology Solutions, BT RedCARE, Silent Witness, Imigix, Dallmeier and Ultrak, and thanks to all those who have already shown an interest in booking a table for next year. The 130 attending – the most yet – came from all corners of the UK and Ireland. The proverbial good time was had by all. Maybe see you there next year.
