Vietnam show

Secutech Vietnam attracted more than 4,000 visitors at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 8 to 10. The sixth edition of the fair featured 90 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, and was organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and co-organised with Vietnam Advertisement & Fair Exhibition JS Company.

Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd said: “Secutech Vietnam is an important trade fair for the security and fire & safety industry as it showcases the latest technology. Local and international visitors were able to source for new products as well as enjoying our fringe programmes.”

Local visitors were looking for a variety of products. Mr Nguyen Anh Quan, Project Director for Hung Viet Technology, a contractor for high-rise buildings and industrial parks explained: “I came to the show to source for technologies that are suitable for my customers. For example, I am looking for systems for parking, fire alarm and surveillance.”

Regular visitor, Ms Nguyen Thi Ninh Chau, Co-founder of Phu Thinh, a fire & safety product supplier, said the show gave her a better understanding of the latest technologies. Ms Chau said: “I visit Secutech Vietnam to know about the government’s view on fire safety regulations, and to learn about the new technologies used in government projects.”
