Risk Services appointments

by Mark Rowe

G4S has made two leadership appointments in its Risk Services and Consultancy businesses.

The multi-national security firm says those businesses run key services in high risk countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia, as well as specialised services in a variety of potentially hazardous areas.

Tim Mitchell has been appointed Managing Director of G4S Global Risk Services and Consultancy. He joins G4S from Frontier Medex a global security, medical and insurance solutions business that has grown fourfold under his five-year leadership.

Anne Tiedemann takes the role of Managing Director of the G4S Global Consultancy and Training business. Anne will report to Tim and will bring experience from 25 years working for the risk consultancy Kroll in risk advisory services to governments, corporations and other clients.

Graham Levinson, Regional CEO, Europe and Risk said: “I am delighted to make appointments to these two crucial roles. We have spent 2013 consolidating our risk and consultancy businesses and we are now perfectly placed to take advantage of our global reach and build world-beating operations under the leadership of Tim and Anne.”
