Cybercrime talk

IT security people face challenges, from auditing the cloud to thwarting cybercrime and ensuring mobile device security. ISACA’s European Computer Audit, Control and Security (EuroCACS)/Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) conference in Munich, Germany, on September 10 to 12, 2012, will cover mobile computing, consumerisation of IT, cloud computing and cyber threats.

Hosted by ISACA — a global body for IT governance, assurance and security people — the 2012 EuroCACS/ISRM   conference will run at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel. IT audit, security, risk and governance people will go over  industry issues, including risk management, cloud computing security and cybercrime.

The conference will feature lectures, panels and discussions, divided into five tracks, led by speakers from Courion, Deloitte Australia, De Nederlandsche Bank, ENISA, Ernst & Young, KPMG, KuppingerCole, Lloyds, Qualys and more. The tracks are:

Improving Audit Performance

Audit Practices That Make an Impact

Solving IT and Business Issues

IT Risk and Exposure Management

The event will conclude with trendspotter Roman Weishäupl, who will examine the future of IT and how innovation can help.
