Crack the code comp at IFSEC

by Mark Rowe

Oprema, a UK multi-brand distributor of security equipment, is exhibiting for the first time at IFSEC International. The annual exhibition is running from June 21 to 23, 2016, at Excel in London.

Exhibiting at IFSEC, on stand C660, represents a new approach for Oprema, the company says, showing its growth from an independent, local distributor to its position as a full turnkey national security solutions provider.

Working with strategic partners – Dahua, Milestone, Paxton, Tyco and Videx – Oprema will showcase the latest security products and systems, as well as promote its full range of professional support services. Visitors to the stand will also have the chance to win £25,000 in Oprema’s Crack the Code competition.

Over recent months, Oprema says, it has made a significant investment in upgrading its internal processes, with the aim of providing greater support for installers and helping to make the installation process more efficient. Logging every engineer support phone call, and proactively providing the training to minimise future difficulties, has resulted in no fault found for returned parts being reduced by half. Time saving processes are also bringing results, with the average quote response time having been reduced from 35 minutes to 15, and providing a one hour window of product delivery to site allowing for better forward planning.

Gareth Williams, Sales Director at Oprema, said: “After many years of attending IFSEC, we’re delighted to be exhibiting for the first time. It’s an ideal platform for us to present the latest security solutions from our strategic partners, but also to make installers and integrators aware of the full range of support services we can offer them. From designing bespoke security systems through to commissioning, pre-configuration and even training – we offer a whole suite of professional services to improve efficiency. Installation labour is the key variable in any project, so improving this piece of the puzzle really adds value for our customers.

“We’re really looking forward to meeting our existing customers, as well as making some new connections, at this year’s show, and displaying how we can work as a partner to installers and integrators.”
