On Tuesday, June 11, Professional Security magazine Managing Director Roy Cooper was at Birmingham Children’s Hospital (BCH). There he handed over a cheque for £2144, the sum raised at the magazine’s debut Security TWENTY 13 conference and exhibition at Meriden, Birmingham, in March, mainly from a networking dinner the evening before the main event.
Roy is pictured outside the entrance with Nancy Gray, community fundraising officer, of the fundraising team at BCH.
At the second Security TWENTY 13 conference at the Novotel Hammersmith in west London on July 3, fund-raising is in aid of Leura, a London-based leukaemia research charity.
