Charity donation

by Mark Rowe

The security manufacturer Pyronix recently pledged that for every new ‘like’ they got on their Facebook page, they would donate £1 to Macmillan Cancer Support. This pre-Christmas campaign was launched in mid-November. The 32 per cent increase in Facebook ‘likes’ has led to a Pyronix donation of £500 to the cancer charity.

Pyronix’ Facebook page is a tool for installers to get product information from the Rotherham based company.

Chairman and CEO, Julie Kenny CBE DL said: “We are delighted to be supporting such a worthy charity and the work that all at Macmillan do for people suffering with cancer and their families. On behalf of Macmillan and all at Pyronix, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people that have shown their support this Christmas in getting behind the Pyronix Likes campaign.”
