Access at healthcare show

by Mark Rowe

The access control product company SALTO Systems is to exhibit at the Healthcare Estates Show, the UK event for hospital and healthcare from Tuesday, October 7 to Wednesday, October 8.

Visitors to stand C38 can find out more about the latest in SALTO’s range of contactless locks, electronic cylinders, energy savers and locker locks all of which can be finished with BioCote technology.

SALTO says that its BioCote helps to provide a cleaner, safer and more hygienic environment for staff, patients and visitors to use. Its silver ion technology is engineered to provide continuous, built-in protection on the products surface. It works by binding with microbes and damaging their cells in a number of ways, disrupting their normal functions and preventing them from reproducing. The BioCote finish reduces the level of microbes on SALTO escutcheons by up to 99.99 per cent. This helps to eliminate the spread of microbes around a building as microbes are not transferred from door to door by people.

Keith Carey, SALTO Systems Ltd Marketing Manager, says: “The show is the ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate to visitors and delegates how SALTO delivers outstanding solutions for the healthcare industry. It’s at the heart of what we do and SALTO technology covers the breadth of a hospitals needs, taking care of security, as well as streamlining and maximizing staff management activities whilst providing security and reliable access control 24/7 that covers the entire property.” Visit www.saltosystems.com.
