Applications are now open for the annual Tilley awards. Applications are sought from projects that can demonstrate that they have tackled crime within the following themes:
Projects led by non-police agencies
Offender based approaches
Tackling gang and youth violence
Violence against women and girls
Alcohol and Drugs
Acquisitive Crime
Anti Social Behaviour
Community Activism – Young People
Vulnerable Groups
Other Crime Types.
The deadline for submitting entries is June 27 and road shows from May 10 to June 1 around England will support applicants wishing to submit projects to the 2012 awards. An award ceremony in London at the end of the year will recognise the achievements of national finalists and to announce the overall top three entries received in this year’s competition.
