AUCSO dinner

by Mark Rowe

The Association of University Chief Security Officers, AUCSO, held their 2014 annual conference dinner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea (RHC) on April 10, where they celebrated 30 years as an association.

Almost 200 members and guests, including some of the former chairs of the association, attended the dinner. The AUCSO annual security awards were presented to security staff from Nottingham, Manchester and London South Bank universities. Members of the association also held a collection and made a donation to the Royal Hospital Chelsea charity. The current AUCSO Chair, Roger Morgan of the University of Sussex, presented the AUCSO cheque for £1000 to RHC in-pensioner, Michael Allen. Pictured are guests enjoying drinks before the dinner.
