Redvision, the UK manufacturer of the X-Series and VOLANT pan tilt and zoom (PTZ) dome cameras and Redcop rapid deployment products, has promoted Stephen Lightfoot to become Technical Director.

Paul Hucker, Redvision director, said: “Stephen’s responsibilities include managing the technical team and supporting the company’s IP and analogue, X-Series and VOLANT rugged PTZ cameras, RedCop rapid deployment, CCTV towers and VEGA rugged housings. Stephen is a proven IP and network specialist who brings innovative ideas and relevant, high-level experience to the company.

“Stephen joined Redvision in August 2016. He has made a huge contribution to product management; the development of new products; and the management of the VMS and analytics integration roadmap. He has provided first class, customer support and I am looking forward to his invaluable input on our new product introduction process going forward.”

Stephen has worked within the security industry for many years, including in technical roles for Sanyo and European Security Partners with the LG range.

Stephen, pictured, said: “It has been a pleasure to work for Redvision this last year. It is a well-respected, UK manufacturer, with a passionate, customer-focused team. I will enjoy supporting and helping develop products that continue to offer superior functionality and smooth integration with the latest network technologies and control systems.”

When Stephen is not at work he can be found chilling out sea canoeing or on his mountain bike.
