Pinkerton open Stockholm office

by Mark Rowe

The US-based investigations and corporate risk management services company Pinkerton has officially entered the Swedish market.

The firm, which also offers security consulting, executive protection, employment screening, and protective intelligence, has a new office in Stockholm.

This comes less than a month after Pinkerton announced its intentions to enter the Swedish market with the acquisition of Stockholm-based risk and security consulting services provider Seccredo AB; which has officially been rebranded as Pinkerton. The office, at Wenner-Gren Center, Sveavägen 166, 113 46 Stockholm, is the company’s first new European-based location since the acquisition, in January.

Jack Zahran, president of Pinkerton, made the announcement. He said: “Risk continues to become increasingly globalized, meaning that the events taking place halfway around the world are impacting the ability of businesses down the street to achieve their goals. We’re excited to expand the Pinkerton brand and, with the opening of this new office, leverage the company’s resources to improve our abilities to assess corporate risk, recommend mitigation strategies and then help business leaders implement those strategies.”

Pinkerton says that its new Stockholm location will offer clients access to the firm’s full suite of risk management services, including risk profile analysis, due diligence, investigations, background screening and crisis management; visit www.pinkerton.com.
