by Mark Rowe

The detector product manufacturer GJD is among companies exhibiting at the free to attend Security TWENTY 17 Ireland on Wednesday, April 5, at the Red Cow Moran Hotel in Dublin. GJD will offer ST17 delegates product demonstrations of its range of motion detectors, laser detectors and LED illuminators.

The new Laser-Watch, pictured, is a IP connected laser surveillance sensor. The Laser-Watch enables CCTV recordings and ensures that cameras are directed to the location of intrusion; while guards can be alerted with alarm details. Also on display is the company’s D-TECT Laser detector, which is range programmable from 10cm to 25m. The D-TECT Laser is a security sensor designed to create virtual walls, ceilings and surveillance security zones.

Both laser products have a range of applications including monitoring pedestrians, airborne drone access and vehicle access points, perimeter protection and intrusion detection, securing open sites and safeguarding works of art, as well as protection against theft and vandalism.

Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “We are always really impressed with Security TWENTY exhibitions and are looking forward to demonstrating our product range to new and existing customers.”

Visitors to the GJD stand will also see the Clarius PLUS range of Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators, which allows users to alter the angle of illumination to deliver a variety of angles. The design allows the user to match the angle of illumination with the camera’s field of view, making it suitable for wide and narrow applications.

The company’s D-TECT IP range of wired and wireless external motion detectors will be on display. The D-TECT IP offers an adjustable detection range up to 50m. A hidden sensor module is for when covert surveillance is required, an optional walk test mode helps to reduce installation time and costs, and an adjustable pan and tilt function provide versatile solutions.

The event opens around 8.30am – turn up early for the breakfast roll, or wait until the buffet lunch.

On the day of the exhibition, GJD is hosting a business card raffle for a chance to win a bottle of bubbly.
