Drone zone returns

by Mark Rowe

The Drone Zone will return to the International Security Expo 2018 on Wednesday and Thursday, November 28 and 29 at London Olympia, with the UK Drone Show.

The Zone incorporates a scenario based flying area showing unmanned aerial vehicles, technology and counter drone products. Alongside, at a dedicated drone pavilion, companies will exhibit infra-red cameras; thermal imaging; drone detection; explosives/substance detection; and training.

Visitors will have the chance to see live application of both drone and counter-drone solutions, for understanding how they can be deployed as tools for protecting assets, organisations and the public.

Richard Wright, Director, UK Drone Show says: “We’re really excited about continuing this partnership with International Security Expo. With its global reach of 12,500 visitors, Officially Hosted Country Delegations and multiple Government Departments involved, International Security Expo remains the perfect home for the UK Drone Show.”

And Peter Jones, CEO, International Security Expo says: “Drones are a global phenomenon in terms of the benefits they bring to the security community and also the risks posed when in hostile hands. The Drone Zone provides visitors with a unique platform to view products, solutions and technologies in action, and will be the biggest Fly Zone of its type at an event like this.”
