Crimestoppers partners

The crime-reporting line and charity Crimestoppers and the casino company London Clubs International, (LCI), have renewed their 15 year partnership to tackle crime.

Of the continued sponsorship from LCI, Roy Ramm, Governance and Public Affairs Director for London clubs International, said; “In once again renewing our association with Crimestoppers, London Clubs has underscored how important we believe is partnership between business and the wider law enforcement community.

“Crimestoppers has now matured into one of the most effective investigative tools available to the police investigating really serious crime and we’re proud to support it.”

Anamari Bishopp, Head of Development for Crimestoppers, said: “We are most happy to continue forward with the support of London Clubs International. Putting a stop to all types of crime through passing on information is important to us and we will endeavour to make this as easy as we can for the public, our valued partners and their customers.

“We encourage all legislation to be upheld including supporting the objectives of the Gambling Act which is of particular importance to this partner so we continue to will do all that we can to increase the information we receive around this area of crime.”

Meanwhile the supermarket chain Sainsbury’s renewed their partnership with the crime-reporting charity recently.

Crimestoppers and Sainsbury’s have run several initiatives together. Phillip Hagon, Head of Corporate Security at Sainsbury’s, said: ‘Sainsbury’s is pleased to continue our support of Crimestoppers by once again renewing our corporate partnership with the charity. We believe that the work of Crimestoppers fits well with our values – most especially to make a positive difference to our communities – and is making a significant contribution to public safety. We are proud to be associated with this valuable work.’

And Anamari Bishopp, Head of Development for Crimestoppers, said: “The partnership with Sainsbury’s is of particular importance to us as both organisations share a real desire to make a difference within communities. It is with great pleasure that we welcome this renewal with Sainsbury’s as we continue to strive to improve the lives of families across the UK.”
