360 Vision at ST17 North

by Mark Rowe

360 Vision Technology, the UK CCTV design and manufacturing company, are reporting a strong reaction to their range of SSL and 802.1 encryption protected surveillance cameras and new Illuminator Dome, at the recent Security TWENTY 17 North exhibition, at its new Harrogate venue in July.

At the show, 360 Vision promoted their secure imaging products incorporating surveillance cameras with SSL and 802.1 encryption. 360 say it’s devised to help protect end-user CCTV operators against system downtime caused by malicious cyber and malware attacks. 360 Vision also gave advance information on the forthcoming Illuminator PTZ Dome camera, which offers HD imaging and on-board 360-degree illumination, for 24/7 surveillance imaging.

Adrian Kirk, Director of Strategic Accounts at 360 Vision Technology, is pictured left at ST17 North, speaking to some stand visitors. He said afterwards: “Along with an opportunity to showcase the highly popular Predator ruggedised PTZ camera range, the show also enabled us to highlight to new and existing customers alike, how compelling an alternative the commercially competitive and ultra reliable VisionDome VR range is versus imported domes, and their unknown longevity span in the field. We know of many VisionDome cameras still performing like brand new after 15 years of constant operation! Add to that the dome cannot be physically tampered with or its direction of view maliciously realigned, due to its polycarbonate bubble, and you have a great long-lifespan British designed and manufactured choice of surveillance dome camera.

“The ST17 regional shows have the benefit of allowing us to meet trade visitors who typically don’t put up with the hassle and cost of travelling to London based security exhibitions. The events are a good formula and value for money, and also provide a networking platform to share project opportunities and discuss emerging technologies for the benefit of all the solution provider partners.
