Stadium software

Stadium Eye software is installed at over 20 football and rugby stadiums across the UK including Arsenal FC, AFC Bournemouth, Chelsea FC, Millennium Stadium and Nottingham Forest. The software is being used to manage season ticket holders, hospitality visitors, contractors, stadium visitors and catering staff accreditation besides spectator access via badges and smart cards with the Datacard SD260 plastic ID card printer from identity card product distributor DED. Stadium Eye covers match day pre-planning, management logistics and incident management.

The SD260 printer offers ID card and badge printing alongside the ability to encode smart cards. Integrating into the Stadium Eye software.

On selecting the Datacard SD260 from DED, Michael Liburd from RowZ Technology said: “The SD260 has seamlessly integrated into the Stadium Eye accreditation application and allows users to easily and swiftly process badges for visitors, full time and part time staff. This need is heightened on match days when additional accreditation is required for the Media and Corporate Hospitality. Therefore the Datacard SD260 is a critical component supporting the Stadium Eye access control solution.”

Integration between turnstiles, ticket access control and CRM systems is also managed via Stadium Eye as are the entry systems which feature key asset track and trace ability, staff management, staff training records and even payroll summaries.

The Datacard SD260 printer display panel automatically alerts users when supplies are running low. It comes with a 100-card input hopper and 25-card output hopper, with the option for single-card feed and extended 100-card output hopper. The SD260 comes with drivers for Windows 7 / Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit) / Windows Server 2008 (64 bit) / Windows XP SP3 / Windows Server 2003 R2 (32 bit) / Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certified and has a standard Ethernet and USB interface.
