by Mark Rowe

CNL Software, the Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software firm, has partnered for a security management project with Tyco Fire & Security UAE.

The two companies report a recent win of what they term a significant project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a globally recognised brand. Tyco UAE will provide CNL Software’s IPSecurityCenter PSIM, within what they describe as an iconic building to integrate and manage a range of physical security systems including CCTV, fire detection, access control, intruder detection, and analytics.

Craig Menzies, Tyco Fire & Security UAE, said: “We are currently seeing a huge shift in the Middle Eastern security industry to open platform solutions that allow integration of products from a variety of manufacturers. By working with software vendors such as CNL Software we are putting our customers’ interests at the forefront of our technology development program. The key to continuing success is to offer innovative solutions that are intuitive and easy-to-use while providing the levels of security our customers need.”

And Daniel Bloodworth, Technical Sales Manager – CNL Software, said: “Tyco is one of the world’s best known security brands, and is well respected in the UAE region. We were delighted to have been chosen by them for this prestigious project. Not only will we work closely together on this project but will actively promote our joint capabilities in the region; focusing on projects where chancing security is not an option!”
