Export Britain Partner

by Mark Rowe

The British Chambers of Commerce reports that Control Risks, the London-based risk consultancy, has become an Export Britain Partner. That’s the online export support resource from the British Chambers of Commerce, which aims to showcase opportunities in key international markets, and links UK exporters to support available from British Chambers and business groups in the UK and the world.

Export Britain aims to play a part in supporting the Government’s objective to double UK exports to £1 trillion a year by 2020.

Control Risks as a risk consultancy offers to help organisations manage political, integrity and security risks in complex and hostile environments. Control Risks is partnering with the British Chambers of Commerce to provide advice to UK exporters on managing risks as they develop their export business in high-growth markets.

David Riches, Executive Director of Commercial Services at the British Chambers of Commerce said: “We are delighted to welcome Control Risks as a partner in the work of the British Chambers of Commerce and the Accredited Chamber Network in supporting UK SME exporters and driving export growth as a sustainable way to drive growth in the UK economy.” And Richard Wylde, Director Government at Control Risks said: ‘Our unique combination of services, geographical reach and the trust clients place in us ensure we can help them to manage risk, solve their problems and realise new opportunities, particularly in environments which are novel or challenging for firms overseas. We are delighted to be working with the British Chambers of Commerce to help clients expand their businesses effectively and safely. Our job is to ensure they can take on opportunities and succeed.” Visit: www.britishchambers.org.uk.
