EEMA, the European association for e-Identity (eID) and security, is sponsoring the Small to Medium Security Installer of the Year and the Security Manager of the Year categories, at IFSEC’s Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2014. The awards will be presented on Thursday evening, November 27, at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.

The annual awards are in their 16th year and will be attended by 1,000 security industry practitioners. Executive Director of EEMA, David Goodman says: “As the association for e-Identity and security EEMA has been at the forefront of the discussion surrounding convergence for some years now. Technology such as biometrics and the rapid proliferation of IP cameras, sensors, alarm systems and more, residing on the IT network, means that today physical and IT security professionals are important bedfellows.”
