The College of Policing sought to offer secure access to its online services and content; the College now has a cloud-based CRM solution.
ProTech’s digital platform ProWeb, integrated with its specialist CRM software captures and stores data for the College to support the dissemination of the College’s training and standards to police officers and staff across the UK. ProTech delivers an integrated web and CRM platform with change management services to Not for Profit (NFP) and public sector bodies; and Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) is a provider of managed IT, cloud and recovery services.
ProTech’s ProWeb product is providing access for members while at work via Sungard AS’ Managed Cloud Services for UK Government (a pan-European accredited ‘OFFICIAL SENSITIVE’ Platform as a Service solution) connected to the Public Services Network (PSN).
Access for members, using any mobile device outside of work, is provided via a secure internet connected platform which detects the device being used to access the College’s membership website. To prevent unauthorised access, content and data delivered is restricted to meet the College’s security requirements.
