The eighth border security conference in Rome on February 18 and 19, by organisers SMi, will focus on European Border Security and operations in the region against such recurrent problems as human trafficking and smuggling of goods.
Solutions, such as use of satellites and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) will be presented on, giving current methods to boost border security. Also the issues of data privacy and protection and when implementing ABC and EES systems. Case studies from the European nations and security organisations about land, port and air borders, and biometrics as part of border control.
