ISM hails ST18 Scotland

by Mark Rowe

Intergrated Security Management (ISM), the developer of door entry and intercoms, has hailed the Security TWENTY 2018 Scotland event, in particular the positive reaction to its Compact Series.

ISM also showcased its recently-launched IP Connect range of IP door entry products and Genesys Integrated Security Management System (ISMS) at the May 1 event in Glasgow.

Geoff Pye, Managing Director (Joint) at ISM, says the event was a useful springboard to focus again on the Scottish market: “Security TWENTY 18 Scotland has given us a great platform to engage with potential customers and showcase our portfolio of high-quality and reliable systems. The Compact door entry system was particularly well received, and it was also very encouraging to have some initial conversations about our new IP Connect range.”

Compact is described by ISM as a vandal resistant telephone entry system for low-rise residential buildings.

ST18 Scotland at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Glasgow besides the exhibition featured industry speakers including Allan Burnett of SecuriGroup; Gordon MacKenzie, Head of Security Services at University of Strathclyde, and Dr David BaMaung, Director at Camor Training.

The next ST18 event runs at the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate, on Thursday, July 5. Entry to the conference and exhibition are free, whether you’re an installer, security manager, consultant or specifier, or just someone who wants to update themselves on UK private security. You are welcome to turn up on the day although organisers ask that you register beforehand, to help gauge the numbers for catering – because yes, there is such a thing as a free (hot, buffet) lunch, and bacon butties for the early arrivals, and mid-morning tea and biscuits.
